Captain Dan's Pirate Pastry Shop specializes in homemade cakes, pies and cookies with emphasis on an old fashioned baking style that is remembered of how grandma used to bake.  We strive to provide the highest quality product and service to our customers.

We adopted the pirate theme because pirates and the sea kind-of go hand-in-hand not, to mention that Dan, when asked, does a pretty mean imitation of a crusty old pirate.

Kathy and Dan

Dan retired from a 3--year managerial position he held with the Federal Reserve Bank.  Prior to that, he worked for seven years as a cook in several Portland area restaurants.

 Kathy held supervisory positions with Meritage Mortgage Corp. and Netbank Inc.  Before that she was a co-owner of a coffee latte business.  Her lifelong hobby has been baking and she has always wanted to open up her own shop.

Kathy and Dan moved to Lincoln City three years ago and immediately fell in love with the area.  They truly enjoy living in one of the nice little towns on the beach and are very excited to be able to realize their dream of owning their own shop.
